This kit has been replaced by the TD-9SX and is no
longer available.
This is the upgraded version of the TD-6SX and is scheduled to
start shipping in Late October, 2006. Roland added a cross bar for additional
rack stability and is now using the CY-5 for the Hat pad.

The TD-6V Module
The first thing you'll notice about the TD-6V Percussion Sound Module
is the new black look and cool blue LCD screen. Like the original, this
64-voice module serves up 1,024 of Roland's best drum and percussion
sounds and 262 backing instruments, but with newly created drum kits
and patterns in the latest music styles.
Pads and Cymbals
The kit includes Roland's popular PD-105BK mesh V-Pad with dual-trigger
capability for playing separate snare and rim sounds. For toms Roland
includes the PD-85BK mesh pads. The CY-8 and CY-12RC cymbals offer swinging
motion with great response, separate bow/edge triggering and choke capabilities.
For your Hi-Hat, Roland includes the FD-8 controller and a CY-5 for your
striking surface.
Upright Kick Trigger
Drummers will appreciate the upright kick drum trigger. The KD-8 Kick
Trigger's vertical design not only gives drummers a better feel compared
to reverse-type kick triggers, but it also reduces trembling so you get
nothing but solid kick sounds. And here's more good news, the
KD-8 can even accommodate double bass pedals, perfect for drummers
who want to create complex rhythms.
