FBT Verve 12a
400w, bi-amped 12" speaker

The FBT Verve Series speakers feature baltic birch plywood construction, covered in a scratch & scuff resistant black paint finish.

The FBT Verve 12a is a two-way design incorporating a B&C 12" low frequency woofer with a neodymium magnet and a B&C 1.4" high frequency driver coupled to a rotatable 80°H x 50°V horn. Thanks to the rotatable HF horns, it is possible to create horizontal arrays of two enclosures for a total coverage of 100° and a Max. SPL of 129dB.

The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 1.8k. With a frequency range of 50Hz - 20kHz, the Verve 12a provides hi fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 123dB. A front face steel grille protects the woofer from external damage.

FBT’s new S.T.E.P. (Soft Trip Electronic Protection) circuitry protects speaker/driver components against failure. The Bi amplified Verve 12a powered speaker features a 300w RMS Class G low frequency amp, and a 100w RMS Class G high frequency amp, both with switch mode power supplies.

The control panel features a master volume control, 2 band EQ with +- 15dB of cut/boost @ 80Hz LF, and +- 15 db cut/ boost @ 10kHz, a balanced XLR female Neutrik input jack, a balanced XLR male link output jack, ground lift switch, LED power on and limiter and protection circuit LED indicators.

The six M-10 fly points built into the cabinets, along with the optional Box 115 or Box 120 mounting brackets allow the Verve 12a speakers to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings. A standard 1-3/8" speaker stand socket allows the Verve 12a to be mounted on speaker stands.
