Active Linear Phase Studio Monitors

The Active Linear Phase 5 (ALP 5) is a time and phase corrected biamplified monitor that redefines excellence in small-footprint studio reference systems.

What you' ll hear is exceptional midrange clarity, superb stereo imaging, bigger low end and louder playback than any other 5.25" monitor. This is achieved with a time-corrected baffle design and precise phase alignment between the low and high frequency drivers.

The Event ALP5 features a 1" dome HF mounted in an elliptical waveguide for a wide sweet spot and is paired with a 5.25", rubber surround/polypropylene-cone woofer. Response is stated as 53 Hz to 20 kHz, and onboard amps provide max SPLs of 105 dB. Inputs are balanced XLR and TRS and unbalanced RCA, and the speaker is mag-shielded.

The front acoustic panel houses the tweeter and woofer, which aligns and preserves the phase and constantly maintains the relation between the two. The result is a monitor that reproduces an accurate stereo image and a particularly wide listening point compared to traditional monitors.
