Designed to work with laptop computers, Earthworks M30BX, battery operated version of the M30, has a built-in preamp with a +14dB gain switch. It has a flat frequency response, fast impulse response and exceptional polar characteristics.

The M23 also has a shorter body than the M30 and comes in a sturdy foam-lined case with its own individual calibration chart. For those who desire calibration files to interface with their software, these are available for a nominal cost.

The M23 is the ideal choice for those who desire a high-quality reliable measurement microphone for room measurements and sound system setup. The M23 will provide the same excellent polar accuracy as their higher-priced measurement microphones.
