Mbox 2 is a next-generation USB-powered audio/MIDI production system that builds on the performance and simplicity of the original Mbox. Featuring a wide range of connection options, including analog, digital, and MIDI I/O, Mbox 2 delivers professional performance in an incredibly compact package. Mbox 2 also includes Pro Tools LE 7 software. Projects created with Mbox 2 and Pro Tools LE 7 software also open on Pro Tools|HD® and Pro Tools M-Powered systems - providing instant compatibility with countless Pro Tools® - equipped project and professional studio.

In addition to Pro Tools LE 7 software, an impressive collection of over 50 valuable plug-ins and applications are included with every Mbox® 2 system. The Xpand!, Free Bomb Factory plug-ins, Pro Tools Ignition Pack and DigiRack plug-ins have been used on countless professional recordings and many are exclusive to the Pro Tools® platform.

Upgrading to the Mbox 2 Factory adds over $1,000 worth of extra professional Digidesign and Bomb Factory plug-ins, plus an iLok USB Smart Key to handle your plug-in authorizations.
