All Artist Elite 4000 Series wireless systems by Audio-Technica begin with a AEW-R4100 half-rack single receiver with multi-unit, multi-channel control linking. You add your choice of a range of transmitters, both body-pack and handheld types to complete your system.

The Artist Elite 4000 Series Receiver
At the heart of the 4000 Series is a rugged True Diversity half-rack receiver, the AEW-R4100, with two hundred selectable channels offered in each of two available UHF bands. Receivers from both the 4000 and 5000 Series may be linked; they may be monitored by the 5000 Series system software. The included IntelliScan feature automatically determines and sets the best available frequencies on all linked receivers.

Artist Elite Series Transmitters include

A UniPak Body-pack Transmitter
The versatile AEW-T1000 UniPak body-pack transmitter features a metal case and includes field-replaceable helical and flexible-wire antennas. It has both low- and high-impedance inputs plus a bias connection, for use with dynamic and electret condenser microphones, as well as Hi-Z instrument pickups.

In addition to its programmable functions, the transmitter includes a three-position sliding control cover to limit access, if desired, to only the Power/Mute button, or to no controls at all, as appropriate for the application and/or user.

Handheld Microphone/Transmitters
The handheld mic/transmitters feature metal-body construction. Four models are available, incorporating a variety of capsules from the Artist Elite wired-microphone series created for professional live-sound venues.

All Artist Elite Series transmitters use two 1.5V AA batteries foreconomical operation and wide availability. The receiver and both transmitters have "fuel gauge" battery condition indicators with low-battery warnings.

All components in the 4000/5000 Series may be used together in a variety of unit combinations and system configurations to create extremely flexible and powerful solutions for a variety of applications.
